Professional Biography

Janet is a Nationally Certified Billing and Coding Specialist and holds a Certificate as a Credentialing Specialist with over 7 years of experience in medical billing, credentialing, and practice management.

Her full-time experience began in a private practice mental health setting, where she served as a Practice Manager completing the billing and credentialing responsibilities for 4 locations. In this role, she managed provider enrollments, insurance billing processes, and administrative operations to ensure smooth practice workflows.

Janet has also worked in a medical Community Health Center with over 6 locations, where she credentialed both mental health and medical providers, expanding her knowledge of multi-specialty provider enrollment and payer requirements. In addition, she has experience in outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse treatment settings, further strengthening her expertise in credentialing and billing within complex healthcare environments.

Throughout her career, Janet has successfully supported providers by completing hundreds of provider enrollment applications and managing thousands of insurance claims as a single billing and credentialing specialist, while also pursuing continued education to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

With this extensive experience, Janet founded her own small business to help mental health professionals establish and grow their private practice. She provides support in credentialing, billing services, and administrative operations, helping providers navigate the complexities of running a practice while focusing on delivering quality patient care.
